It's Vintage Baby! / Vintage!

Hello there!

Here is an invitation which I've created for Oana ( a special bride who gave both me and her wedding planner agency-the two wonderful girls from Floral Couture-total freedom , so she  witnessed a real artistic expression. Our imagination went wild :)

For now, I present you just the wedding invite and the money envelopes, the rest I'll show you in other post

Mnahhh...I couldn't find a photo just of the money enevelopes... so here they are: the menus and the table numbers and the ring bearer. What you see in the back is a photo phrame which Oana gave me for an upgrade: I personalized it with the names of the bridal couple and I gave it a discreet antique patina.

 For the ring bearer I 've made her a trincket box , in fact I've decorated it to fit the theme, keeping the same antique look, of course.

This is a newer version of a invitation I've created two years ago

 for Alina and Florin!

Keeping the color palette but twisting the accents at the same time, adding some new ones...and here is the result!

Yet, I've noticed that some designers have allready come up with some similar models of this design, maybe because it is  simple and elegant at the same time...

The text is maintainig the same vintage theme. One the left side of the interior , the bride wished to have printed a love poem written by Mihai Eminescu ...Very nice!

And here are the envelopes ....all handmade as well.

Sketches of a Rustic Wedding Stationery / Schite pentru o Papetarie de Nunta Rustica

As you , my followers, can see

   I do not tend exposing  sketches or prototypes on my blog until after exposing them to the bridal couple

Here is an example of stationery set  designed for rustic wedding, but not so embellished... it should be appropriate to a beautiful spring day.

Finally, the bride dropped out this idea, but I find that this set came out very nice so I decided to show it you, too.

 The white cardstock, slightly textured and matte appearance combined with natural hemp twine and natural raffia is complemented by small splashes of green meant to evoke the rebirth of nature, until recently dormant...

For the wedding will take place in May, this is the concept  I've been trying to capture!

Dupa cum puteti  vedea, eu nu obisnuiesc sa expun pe blog schite sau prototipuri decat dupa ce le voi fi aratat si  mirilor.

Iata un exemplu de papetarie conceputa pentru o nunta rustica, dar nu foarte decorata.

 Ar fi trebuit sa fie  potrivita unei zile frumoase de primavara...

In sfarsit, mireasa a renuntat la ele, dar eu gasesc ca au iesit foarte reusite asa ca am decis sa vi le arat.

Cartonul alb , mat usor texturat in combinatie cu aspectul natural al sforii de canepa si al rafiei naturale, este completat de stropul de culoare verde, menit sa evoce renasterea naturii, pana nu demult adormita...

pentru ca nunta are loc in luna  mai.

Black Velvet Wedding Invitation With a Pinch Of Red / Invitatie De Catifea Neagra Cu Putin Rosu

 I think this is a classic combination...

Not to mention if it involves precious materials such as red and black velvet

When Ramona ,the future bridecontacted me she had only one photo showing a table arrangement in this color combination and a picture of a tatoo with this type of font.

It took many questions  three or four invitation samples and five-six  text processings to  to get to this form that, otherwise, the bride has chosen.

One thing is sure : although I didn't met her personally, I think Ramona is one of the finest people I've ever met .

I wish more photos from their wedding, which I think will be one full of glamorous elements!

Cred ca aceasta combinatie e una clasica!

Unde mai pui daca este vorba de materiale pretioase ca si catifeaua...

Cand m-a contactat Ramona, viitoare mireasa,

 nu avea decat o  fotografie care arata aceasta combinatie si inca una cu tipul de font pe care si-l doreste pentru invitatiile ei.

A fost nevoie de multe intrebari,  vreotrei- patru probe  la invitatie si vreo cinci, chiar sase aranjari de  text pentru a ajunge la aceasta forma pe care , de altfel, mireasa si-a ales-o.

Un lucru e sigur :desi nu am cunoscut-o personal, cred ca Ramona este una dintre cele mai rafinate persoane pe care le-am cunoscut pana acum. 

Imi doresc mult poze de la nunta lor, care cred ca va fi una plina de elemente glamour

Still Feeling Rustic!

 

Here is another rustic invitation which is following the same line as the previous one. Keeping the equally expressive decor elements, this invitation is meant to be a statement of the  earthy feeling I wanted to capture.

I love the light and the shadows captured in these photos: it seems that they are showing a little glimpse of summer days

Country Chic Wedding Invite / Invitatie de Nunta Country Chic

I admire the free spirit dominating the weddings from outside the country for a long time and I thought what if we give up a bit stereotypes and we give free rein to our imagination ...

If you looked at  wedding photos taken by foreigners then you've seen  spouses  sincerity transpiring beyond the image. This applies to the event itself :

the bridal couple is happy, the wedding decor is chic, the outfit  is easy and relaxed even if it's about an unique event in their lives

The Beloved Butterflies! / Multiubitii Fluturi!

I must confess that I study my blog statistics every morning. It helps me a lot, especially knowing your desires regarding  wedding stationeries. I'm always trying to mold myself on top searches without becomming common. It's very important for me and my small bussiness to create and keep a distinctive note during the creation process. For those who are asking me how do I succeed, this is the response: originality, very few compromises, lot of work, sometimes sleepless nights...

In the picture below there is a model created last summer for a bride who wanted a more dramatic version for her butterfly themed wedding cards. Usually, for this theme the colors are sheer, ethereal, in nice shades of white , ivory, pink. I like what came out by putting togheter two contrasting colors such as fuchsia and black. I also think that the combination between plain cardstock and the velvet accent provides a unique touch . This is my style: the contrast - a surprising combination of  either  different materials or, by very different color palletes . Because of my passion for  strong colors and heavy textures I try to combine them each time the theme allows me.

Red Masquerade Wedding Card...But Not Velvet!

Hello again and a happy new year to you all my viewers!
As you see  I slowed down a bit with the posts and updates for this bog but I promiss I'll catch back! We are preparing for this year's edition of the local wedding fair, so we will have interesting things to show you.

This is a simple cardstock version of my venetian invitations; they were made for a brine who lounched me a challenge: making  a new design for a venetian inspired wedding invitation. We first started making a velevet version, rememeber these invitations... but because of price range we ended making this version. However, then, I was telling you about the inconveniences that we had  in overcaming some attitude issues from the bride. Well, although the result was a very nice and noble looking set of wedding cards the bride didn't agree.

We are letting you to analize the pictures and asking you to give us a feedback. Sometimes, despite the efforts and soul involvement we don't receive positive appreciations, so , at least I ,promise myself to detach a little.  It's hard, because every prototype I'm making  has a piece of my soul, my time, my life, my babygirl time. Think about it...

Phew ... apparently I'm very bad with time ... hence the rare posts.

 With these invitations I continue, a theme I've started some time ago: a new approach for a late autumn wedding.
