In the Same Style ... For a Little Boy / In Acelasi Stil...Pentru un Baietel

I love when I am  asked to create something just for the simple reason  portfolio recommends me and I love when someone  asks me to do something  with no other directives and indications

Then the miracle happens and my imagination goes crazy.

 I always found myself in vintage style in all its magnitude and with all its variations and I find absolutely delicious  this style adaptations to the realities of a child.

 And if the previous post  revealed my approach for a  girl, here's my vision for a boy this time, a boy for whom I created in the past and the christening stationery. 

 Ador cand mi se cere sa creez ceva doar pentru ca portofoliul ma recomanda si imi place cand cineva imi cere sa fac ceva fara alte directive si indicatii.

Atunci se intampla minunea si imaginatia mea  o ia razna!

Intotdeauna m-am regasit in stilul vintage in toata amploarea lui si cu toate variatiunile lui si gasesc absolut delicioase adaptarile acestui  stil la realitatile unui copil. Iar daca in postarea anterioara am dezvaluit abordarea mea pentru o fetita, iata viziunea mea pentru un baietel de aceasta data, pentru care am creat in trecut si garnitura de botez

Breaking the Rithm /O Rupere de Ritm

I enjoyed every second allocated to decorating this frame and felt the comforting effect that painting had always on me .

In the end the result pleased me because  I was able to express exactly what I had in mind 

  I found it appropriate to adopt a combination of techniques that ultimately gives uniqueness to this object; in fact mixed art is one of my favourite hobby domain

Am savurat fiecare secunda alocata decorarii acestei rame si am simtit efectul reconfortant pe care pictura l-a avut intotdeauna asupra mea.

La final rezultatul  m-a multumit reusind sa exprim exact ce aveam in minte.

 Am gasit potrivit sa adopt o combinatie de tehnici care in final confera unicitate obiectului, scotandu-l din anonimat.

'Venetian Stucco" Decoupage / Decupaj " Stucco Venetiano"

I like old handcrafts because they are telling story; they are a statement of bygone eras and a piece of their creators soul. This is a simple wine bottle but ,being inspired by the pattern of the decoupage paper, I got the idea to give it a vintage noble look like this faux Venetian Stucco .
I did the same way with the two little boxes that you are seeing in the images.

Imi plac lucruile vechi facute de mana pentru ca spun o poveste; sunt o marturie a vremurilor apuse si o parte din sufletul celui ce le-au creat. Aceasta este o sticla simpla de vin, dar fiind inspirata de modelul hartiei decoupage, mi-a venit ideea sa ii dau o infatisare nobila si veche, precum acest aspect fals de Stucco Venetiano.

La fel am procedat si cu cele doua cutiute pe care le vedeti in imagini.

Still life, decoupage and handpainting / Natura moarta, decupaj si pictura

I created these home decorations thinking about Christmas gifts and the cozy atmosphere Christmas Eve.




Apples, cinnamon, walnuts, hot wine , you know the rest...

I just love how it came out! The combination of brown shades and golden shadows... what else can be more warmly?

Am creat aceste decoratiuni cu gandul la darurile de Craciun si la ambianta confortabila a Ajunului de Craciun.

Mere, scortisoara, nuci, vin fierbinte... restul il stiti.

Imi place cum a iesit! Combinatia de nuante maronii si umbre aurii... ce altceva poate fi mai calduros?

Decoupage Vintage Bottle / Sticla Vintage Decoupage

Or shall I say flower vase... In any case this home decoration was beeing very admired at the Handmade Fair that I attended this week-end. I have been asked for several times if it is handpainted.




In any case , it looked very well on the table sitting beside two candle holders which have been decorated in the same manner, by me, of course.



So, I sold it, and I was feeling obliged to make another one similar to this, not like this.


A change of registry; I hope that bodes well.
